I said “remind me Friday to send the Vela email” out loud, and JARVIS filed it, on the right day, without me touching a keyboard.

The Notes tab was the weakest room in JARVIS — a flat list I had to type into. I rebuilt it as DESK: one surface, two modes. Free-form notes on one side, and a Trello-style board — To do / Doing / Done — on the other. Cards are fully editable and can be pinned to a project, so a stray thought becomes tracked work in two clicks.
“Remind me Friday to send the Vela email.” JARVIS parses it, files the card, and answers back — “Done it, sir.”
The part I’m proudest of is the voice path. I can speak a command and JARVIS understands the intent, drops the card in the right column with the right due date, and gives a short spoken acknowledgement. Reminders then fire as notifications on my phone — so the thing I said out loud finds me again at the right moment.
And it’s built cost-consciously. Parsing a command is a tight, single call — a regex gate means an ordinary question never pays for it, so DESK adds a genuinely useful capability without meaningfully moving my model spend.
